Saturdays 12.30-2.30pm with Richilde of Girl Nomad Ceramics

5 week wheel course.

6th-27th March. 5th week is a glazing workshop and will run on Sat 10th April 10am-12pm (*if you can’t make this date we will find a time to suit you).

Richilde studied at the ANU School of Art and Design, then taught and worked as a professional potter. During this time Richilde started Girl Nomad Ceramics, making work for local restaurants and stores, she taught social media and small business skills to emerging artists and exhibited both in the ACT and interstate. She is thrilled to continue teaching and is looking forward to working with students to develop their wheel skills.

Richilde will share with you her ceramics process, with a focus on building your skills up to make vases and bottles. Of course, there will also be some wiggle room for other vessels and she will also meet you at your level of skill.

Nitty Gritty…

*included in the price is the bisque and glaze firing of approx 6-8 pieces (depending on size). Any additional pieces can be fired for an additional $15/kg

*Up to 10kg of clay is included in course (any additional can be purchased for $3/kg)

*if you can’t make one of the classes we will try very hard to fit you in but can’t always guarantee it. We are happy for you to send someone in your place
